I don't know if I would have been able to identify which is which. Here is a link for the whole article:

Taylor and I will be conducting our own Happy Meal test beginning today so if you want updates just check out this blog.
If you want any more motivation to stay away from fast food, try watching Super Size Me. It's a documentary written and directed by Morgan Spurlock who takes on the challenge to eat only McDonald's food for one whole month. It made me never want a fast food meal ever again.
I feel quite passionate about this topic and I think it is because I feel so strongly that the happiness and peace of Americans are crumbling because of such bad health. I could go into so much more BUT I will spare whoever is reading this. If you do feel like listening to more of my thoughts on this topic, I'm sure there will be more in future posts. I hope you find the info as fascinating and motivating as I did. :)

I love it! It is true, happiness is based on our health (as I eat a piece of pizza). It was was an awesome article! I cant wait to start the experiment.
ReplyDeleteOh and like we talked about, the less the shelf life, the better for you is the food!
ReplyDeleteI saw this article too, disgusting!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! Saw this on TV a while back (or maybe it was YouTube...). And I concur, every human being should watch Supersize Me!!! Some extremely interesting proof about the quality of food we eat and how it affects our overall health!
ReplyDeleteRemember how his mood dropped and he would just feel depressed? He said he had no reason... just felt really down and depressed. Food can do that to you. On the flip side, if food is nutritious enough, it can make you feel HAPPY and GOOD!
And remember what his girlfriend said about how he didn't "perform" quite the same and it took him longer to you-know-what?
And remember how the doctors, at the end of the documentary, denied that his eating fast food didn't really affect all his health problems? The DOCTORS said that?
And, obviously, he got fatter and had all kinds of horrible health problems only in one month!
We don't eat fast food. I never want it or crave it anymore (after watching that and Food, Inc!)
I'm excited to read about your guys' experiments! Definitely following these posts..
